Are you an experienced sales professional with strong relationships across the municipal water, utilities, or infrastructure sectors? An exciting opportunity exists for a commercially driven Key Account Manager to join a market-leading engineering solutions business servicing the water infrastructure industry across Victoria and Tasmania. This role will see you working closely with water authorities, councils, contractors, consultants, and infrastructure partners to drive business growth, identify project opportunities, and develop long-term strategic customer relationships.
About the Role
Reporting to the Sales Director, you will take ownership of a regional portfolio and be responsible for developing new business opportunities while growing existing key accounts within the municipal and water utilities sector. You will become a trusted advisor to customers, providing technical and commercial solutions that support major water treatment and infrastructure projects throughout the region.

About You
To be successful,
you will possess:
Proven B2B sales or account management experience. Min 3 years couple with 2nd point
Experience within municipal, water, utilities, infrastructure, industrial, process engineering or related sectors
Solid business development and relationship management skills
Experience managing complex stakeholder environmentsQualifications in Chemical, Environmental or Engineering related.
Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation abilities
Commercial acumen with a track record of achieving sales targets
Ability to identify opportunities and convert them into long-term business outcomes
Key Responsibilities
Drive sales growth and achieve revenue and profitability targets
Develop and execute strategic account plans
Build relationships with water utilities, councils, contractors and consulting engineers
Identify and pursue tender opportunities and upcoming infrastructure projects
Develop and maintain a healthy sales pipeline
Provide commercial and technical solution advice to customers
Deliver market intelligence and competitor insights
Promote service, maintenance and lifecycle solutions
Attend industry conferences, trade events and customer forums
Maintain accurate forecasting and CRM activity records
