About the role
This is a rare opportunity to join Merri-bek City Council's Maternal and Child Health Team.

You will:
Be responsible for providing a high-quality, family-centred MCH service that promotes and protects the health and wellbeing of families with children 0 - 5 years in the municipality.
Provide evidence-based guidance and advice, support and education on a wide variety of health, parenting and family issues
Be a team player with a strong customer service focus.
Work autonomously with clients and provide an MCH service with support from the team and your MCH Coordinator.
Work in a team to solve problems and achieve outcomes in a constructive and collaborative manner.
Attend regular Team meetings and planned professional development.
Enjoy Merri-bek's supportive mentoring program for all new staff.
Access to New Graduate support and mentoring if you are in your first 12 months of practice
Skills and experience required to perform the role
Current registration with AHPRA - Division 1 Nursing and Midwifery and accredited post-graduateor recognised qualification in Maternal and Child Health nursing (or pre **** equivalent).
Demonstrated knowledge of child health, development and behaviour.
Knowledge and skills in supporting parents.
Knowledge and experience in identifying family violence
Valid employee Working with Children's Check (WWCC)
