RetireAustralia is seeking a talented and dedicated Chef to join our passionate team atRiverina Gums Retirement Villageon a full-time basis.
As our in-house Chef, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional dining experiences for our residents, ensuring they enjoy delicious, nutritious meals while maintaining the highest standards of Health, Safety and Environmental (HS&E;) practices.

Full-time position | 9-day fortnight | Working every second weekend | No late nights (shifts between 9:15am and 6:30pm)
Will suit candidates living in Wagga Wagga or the surrounding areas

Reporting to the Village Manager, you will also be responsible for:
Preparing and presenting high-quality meals for residents.
Assisting with stock control, food ordering and food costing to support productive kitchen operations.
Maintaining and managing food handling regulations and kitchen compliance requirements.
Planning and preparing food for village events and special functions.
Ensuring resident information is treated with the highest level of privacy and confidentiality.
We're on the lookout for someone with:
Demonstrated experience in a similar Chef role.
Experience preparing nutritious meals, including meals tailored to varying dietary requirements.
Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or formal Chef training.
Strong food costing and ordering experience.
National Police Check (or ability to obtain).
First Aid & CPR Certificate (or ability to obtain).
Ability to pass a pre-employment medical assessment, including Drug and Alcohol Testing.
