These positions are open to Registered Nurse graduates who were previously eligible for the PMCV **** (for ****) graduate match and were unsuccessful in matching with a health service.

Permanent Part-Time -

Our Graduate Program provides an opportunity for newly registered nurses to make the transition to skilled practice within the Central Goldfields and Pyrenees regions, only a short 50-minute drive from the Regional Cities Ballarat & Bendigo, and 2 hours from Melbourne.
n
Our Graduate Program is a 12-month structured and supported program that consists of 6-month clinical area rotations -
n
n
Aged Care; Dunolly, Avoca and Maryborough Campuses
n
Inpatient Unit
n
Urgent Care Centre
n
Perioperative Services
n
District Nursing
n
n
As part of the MDHS graduate program, graduate nurses will be supported to consolidate clinically and develop professionally through -
n
n
Comprehensive Induction and Orientation to Maryborough District Health Service and Clinical Areas.
n
Clinical support, mentorship and organisational education opportunities;
n




Supernumerary and orientation time are provided within the program structure, as is Annual Leave per the EBA
n
Paid study days spread throughout the program with additional study days offered
n
Regular debriefing and rounding opportunities;
n
Access to a variety of interactive E-Learning programs including targeted online CPD topics to assist your development.
n

Following the successful completion of the 12-month program graduates are welcomed to apply for available positions through Maryborough District Health Service.
