First Aid Academy Pty Ltd – RTO# 40920 is an innovative, professional first aid training centre and first aid supplies store. We build confidence to care by providing nationally accredited courses and other services, including sales & hire of rescue equipment, as well as providing first aid staff at local events. We cater for a wide variety of local organisations, nationally owned corporate businesses, government agencies, and the general public of Cairns & Far North Queensland.

We are looking for an energetic, industrious administration and retail assistant with attention to detail to join our friendly, energetic team at the highest-ranking first aid training facility in Cairns. If you are interested in gaining knowledge in the RTO administration sector, this position will be a great place to challenge yourself to grow your skills.

Key responsibilities
Respond to phone, email and in-store enquiries, directing to the correct department where necessary
Process individual, group and company course enrolments
Accurately maintain client data in both student and retail management systems
Process student certifications




Point of sale operation
Assist the Sales Manager in restocking and sales
Cleaning the store and training facilities as part of the team
General tasks as required

About you
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Attention to detail, high standards regarding accuracy
Sound computer skills with ability to learn new systems
Productive and professional phone manner
Ability to work within a team and follow direction
