Foundation Skills Trainer - Evening Classes
About the Role:

The Skills for Education and Employment (SEE) Program is a government-funded initiative that helps people aged 15+ build essential language, literacy, numeracy, and digital skills.
As anEvening Trainer, you'll deliver engaging training classes outside standard business hours, supporting participants who may be balancing work, family, or other daytime commitments.
You'll create a supportive learning environment, helping learners build confidence, overcome barriers, and progress towards further education and employment opportunities.
This role is based inCaloundra, and involves delivering training duringevening hours.
This is a casual position, ideal for an experienced trainer looking for flexible work that makes a genuine difference.
What You'll Do
Deliver engaging foundation skills training to adult learners in evening classes
Facilitate face-to-face learning in a supportive and inclusive workplace
Adapt training approaches and resources to meet varying learner needs
Deliver LLND training aligned with RTO requirements and relevant standards
Assess, monitor, and record participant progress and outcomes
Foster learner engagement, confidence, and achievement

What You Bring:
Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE*****, TAE*****, TAE***** or equivalent)
TAESSS***** Foundation Skills Integration Skill Set or TAESS***** Address Foundation Skills in Vocational Practice Skill Set (or willingness to obtain)
Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card) or equivalent registration (or ability to obtain prior to commencement)
Ongoing right to work in Australia
Ability to obtain a satisfactory National Police Check (or ability to obtain prior to commencement)
Highly Regarded:
Experience teaching adult literacy, numeracy, language or EAL learners
Specialist Adult Literacy or TESOL qualification
