How You'll Make a Difference
Provide marine expertise and support for the Svitzer Australia (particularly West Coast) operating region.
Delivery of Master's training in specific locations, ensuring that all training plans are implemented in coordination with Port teams.
Provide dedicated training and mentoring for both current and existing operators to achieve required competencies and skill levels.
Develop, conduct and evaluate simulation-based courses with emphasis on creating and coordinating life‐like scenarios and props for educational purposes.
Review of on water marine incidents that may require training improvements and contributing to Marine Standards investigations regarding operational incidents.
Provide operational marine expertise when engaging with clients,



port authorities and other external stakeholders.
What You'll Bring To
Prior experience as a Tug Master operating omnidirectional tugs.
Minimum Master 45m Near Coastal Certificate of Competency or equivalent.
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively convey information to key stakeholders.
Ability to collect and analyse data, identify trends and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
Excellent time management skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritise work.
Proven computer literacy with competency in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
