About the role
We are seeking experienced Diploma Educators to join multiple childcare and outside school hours care sites across Mooloolaba, Queensland on a full-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity to make a real difference in children's lives whilst working across diverse, agile early learning environments. You will be responsible for planning and delivering quality educational programmes, fostering children's development, and creating inclusive learning communities where every child can thrive.
Key responsibilities
Plan, implement and evaluate engaging educational programmes that promote children's cognitive, emotional, physical and social development
Provide direct care and supervision to children in accordance with regulatory standards and best practice guidelines
Build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues, fostering an inclusive and supportive environment
Maintain detailed observations and documentation of children's learning and development progress
Collaborate with educators and management to ensure consistency of care and educational practices across the service
Support children with additional needs and ensure all children have access to quality learning opportunities
Maintain safe,
clean and well-organised learning spaces that meet health and safety requirements
Communicate regularly with families regarding their child's progress, experiences and wellbeing
Participate in professional development and contribute to the continuous improvement of the service
Comply with all relevant legislation, policies and procedures including child protection and confidentiality requirements
What we're looking for
Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent relevant qualification
Current First Aid and CPR certification appropriate for working with children
Working with Children Check (Blue Card) or willingness to obtain one prior to commencement
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage positively with children, families and colleagues
Demonstrated knowledge of child development, learning theories and evidence-based educational practices
Ability to plan and deliver quality programmes that reflect children's interests and promote inclusive practices
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
Commitment to maintaining a safe, clean and stimulating learning environment
Flexibility and adaptability when working across multiple sites
Professional attitude with a genuine passion for supporting children's development and wellbeing
Experience working in childcare or outside school hours care settings is highly valued
Knowledge of the National Quality Framework and National Quality Standards is advantageous
