Miracle Health Services is looking for reliable and caring people to join our team as Domestic Assistance Cleaners, supporting older people to maintain a clean, comfortable and safe home.
This is a dedicated domestic cleaning position providing services to aged care clients in their own homes across North Metro Melbourne.
This role is focused on cleaning. It does not involve personal care, disability support or transporting clients.

Miracle Health Services is looking for reliable and caring people to join our team as Domestic Assistance Cleaners, supporting older people to maintain a clean, comfortable and secure home.
This is a dedicated domestic cleaning position providing services to aged care clients in their own homes across North Metro Melbourne.
This role is focused on cleaning. It does not involve personal care, disability support or transporting clients.
What does a typical day look like?
A typical working day will be approximately 9:00 am to 4:00 pm and will generally involve visiting three clients.
You will normally complete:
Three client visits per day
Approximately two hours of domestic cleaning at each home
Paid travel time between client appointments, accounted for within your 6.5 paid hours
Travel across North Metro Melbourne
Kilometre reimbursement for travel between clients in accordance with applicable arrangements
Your clients will generally be located within Melbourne's northern metropolitan area. As this is a community based position, you will travel from one client's home to the next throughout the day.
We are flexible regarding which days you work. However, when you are rostered to work, we are looking for availability for a full working day rather than individual client visits.
What will I actually be doing?




Your role is to provide practical domestic assistance to older people who may need some additional help maintaining their home.
Typical duties include:
Vacuuming
Mopping floors
Cleaning bathrooms and toilets
Cleaning kitchens and household surfaces
Dusting
Changing bed linen
Laundry assistance
General household cleaning
Maintaining a clean and safe environment for the client
Cleaning equipment and products are provided within the client's home.
This role does not require you to provide personal care, showering, medication assistance or disability support.
Who are we looking for?
You do not need to be a professional cleaner to be suitable for this position.
We are looking for someone who understands that domestic assistance is a genuine cleaning role and is comfortable completing regular household cleaning throughout their working day.
You should be:
Reliable and punctual
Comfortable completing hands on domestic cleaning
Respectful when working inside another person's home
Able to work independently
Comfortable working with older people
Able to follow individual client instructions and service requirements
Able to manage your time across multiple appointments
Comfortable travelling between client homes throughout North Metro Melbourne
Physically able to safely complete normal household cleaning duties
Most importantly, you need to understand the expectations of the role and be willing to consistently provide a good standard of cleaning for our clients.
Employment arrangement
This is a part time position.
The usual structure is approximately 6.5 paid hours per working day, generally across a period of approximately 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.
We can discuss the number and selection of working days with the successful applicant.
However,



availability needs to be for full working days so that we can establish consistent client runs.
Hourly rate: $***** per hour
Paid travel time between clients is included within the rostered 6.5 hours.
Eligible kilometres travelled between clients are reimbursed separately.
What you will need
To be considered for this position you will need:
A valid Australian driver's licence
Access to a reliable vehicle to travel between client homes
A current National Police Check or recognised NDIS Worker Screening Clearance that satisfies applicable aged care worker screening requirements
Current First Aid certification
Current CPR certification
Australian working rights
