About You
In one of our professional roles, you'll focus on winning with consumers and the market, while putting safety, mutual respect, and human dignity at the centre. The successful Business Development Manager will be responsible for establishing and growing Arbex's national distributor and end-user network to achieve sales targets within budget across our B2B business. This includes managing existing and new customer relationships, driving new account development, expanding wallet share within existing accounts, and growing channel partnerships across Australia.
Key responsibilities
Establish execution plans aligned to global, regional and local strategic objectives
Partner with Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain and other internal stakeholders to establish and execute Australia's new business operating model
Set revenue targets and deliver business plans that achieve sales goals while effectively managing the sales pipeline through Salesforce
Develop joint business plans with distributors to achieve shared growth objectives
Partner with end users, marketing and innovation teams to identify and capture new business opportunities
Embrace digital technologies and leverage AI-enabled and digital selling tools to support account planning, market analysis, customer segmentation and business development activities
Build, influence and maintain strong executive-level relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
Advocate for the future of innovation,



digital commerce and growth strategies with distributors and customers
Required Qualifications
5+ years of business development or sales experience within multinational organisations
Proven distributor management and key account management experience
Strong experience within a B2B commercial sales environment and channel management
Advanced analytical skills with the ability to leverage data insights to identify growth opportunities and maximise return on investment
High proficiency with Salesforce, CRM platforms and sales pipeline management
Demonstrated success influencing and managing executive-level relationships
Excellent presentation and communication skills
Fluent written and verbal English
Preferred Qualifications
Consumer products sales experience
Experience within lodging, industrial/manufacturing, food processing, retail or FMCG sectors
Experience using AI-powered sales and business development tools
Experience launching, expanding or transforming distributor networks
