The Opportunity:
At KBR Defence & Technology Solutions, we deliver critical capabilities that help the Australian Defence Force maintain its operational edge. As a leader in Mission Planning System development, integration, and support, we combine cutting-edge technology, aviation expertise, engineering excellence, training, and agile software delivery to shape the future of Defence mission planning. We are seeking an experienced and driven AusPEX Field Support Representative (FSR) to play a key role supporting one of Defence's most important aviation planning and scheduling capabilities. As the Field Support Representative, you'll be the trusted technical advisor and primary support representative for AusPEX users across Defence. You'll work closely with aviation stakeholders, operational units, engineers, and capability managers to ensure the successful operation, adoption, and continuous improvement of the AusPEX system. This role is based in Nowra, HMAS Albatross. This is a unique opportunity to work directly alongside Defence personnel, providing expert advice, training, and technical support that contributes to mission readiness across the Australian Defence Force.

Responsibilities:
Acting as the first point of contact for AusPEX users, providing timely technical support and operational guidance.
Supporting Defence personnel with system-related queries and troubleshooting activities.
Managing and coordinating support requests, bug validation, issue resolution, and enhancement recommendations.
Conducting engaging instructor‐led training courses and user workshops.
Developing and maintaining training materials, technical documentation, release notes, and user guides.
Building strong relationships with operational units to understand support and training requirements.
Assisting with business analysis, requirements gathering, testing activities, and system enhancements.
Supporting system deployments and configuration activities.
Participating in stakeholder meetings and providing regular reporting on support activities and outcomes.
Working collaboratively with KBR engineering teams, Defence representatives, and capability stakeholders to continually improve the AusPEX capability.
Essential Skills & Experience:
Previous experience working within or alongside the Australian Defence Force (ADF).
Strong proficiency in PEX or equivalent Currency Management Software, including at least one specialisation.
Experience delivering training and conducting assessments.
Experience developing training programs, courseware, and assessment tools.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
Ability to obtain and maintain an Australian Government Security Clearance (NV1 minimum).
Highly Regarded Aviation experience within aircrew, operations, or maintenance environments.
Understanding of Agile software development methodologies.
Technical writing experience and development of user guides or support documentation.
Experience in business analysis, systems testing, or requirements development.
Defence industry experience,
particularly within the aviation domain.
All candidates will be required to hold and maintain an active NV1 Defence Security Clearance.

This role is based in Nowra, HMAS Albatross.
