MINPROVISE has an prospect for a Maintenance Boilermaker / Coded Welder to join our Remediation and Corrosion Control team in Port Hedland. The position is Full Time role on an 8:6 / 7:7 Dayshift FIFO roster in Western Australia working in a small team for our Tier 1 client.

About the chance

Our Team is working on a Maintenance Structural Integrity Project for our client, ensuring the site is well maintained to meet the safety codes and guidelines required. This maintenance position works in a small team to ensure everyoneu0027s safety on site, which requires the successful applicant to possess great interpersonal and communication skills with their team and everyone else on site. This opportunity is a long term maintenance project with a Tier 1 client in Port Hedland providing the comfort and exposure to the best practices in the industry.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience




Certificate III in Fabrication Trade Qualification
Minimum 2 yearsu0027 experience in Maintenance & Structural Integrity projects within mining, processing, port, or heavy industrial environments
Demonstrable experience in handrail and gridmesh repairs, installation and welding using MMAW (Stick) and GMAW (MIG) processes within a mining or heavy industrial environment
Ability to interpret drawings, complete site measurements and fabricate replacement components where required
Working at Heights Statement of Attainment (issued within 2 years)
Confined Space Entry and Gas Testing Atmospheres Statement of Attainment (issued within 2 years
HRWL - EWP , FL (Preferred)
National Police Clearance
Current Australian Drivers Licence
Valid Australian working rights
Strong focus and commitment for safety
