Alice Springs Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join its Palliative Care facility on a contract basis for 6 to 8 weeks, commencing as soon as possible. Based in Alice Springs, NT, this role offers the prospect to deliver compassionate, specialist care to patients at a critical stage of their journey. You'll bring at least two years of clinical experience in palliative care, working alongside a dedicated team committed to comfort, dignity, and quality end-of-life support.

Preferred Requirements




Minimum two years of clinical experience specifically in palliative care
Solid knowledge of symptom management, pain control, and comfort measures
Ability to communicate sensitively with patients, families, and the broader care team
Experience with end-of-life care planning and advance care directives
Proficiency in clinical documentation and electronic health records

Preferred Qualifications
Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse in Australia
Post-graduate qualification or certification in palliative care nursing
Current First Aid and CPR certification
