Alice Springs Hospital is seeking experienced Registered Nurses to join its Medical/Surgical Pool on a six-week contract basis, starting as soon as possible. Based in Alice Springs, NT, this role offers the chance to work across multiple wards in an acute general medical and surgical setting. The successful candidate will bring at least two years of experience in general medical and surgical nursing and a demonstrated ability to adapt and work flexibly across different ward environments.
Work across medical and surgical wards in a busy acute hospital setting
Six-week contract position, starting ASAP
Based in Alice Springs, NT with flexibility to rotate across wards as needed

Preferred Requirements
Minimum two years' experience in general medical and surgical nursing within an acute hospital setting




Demonstrated ability to work flexibly across multiple wards and adapt to different clinical settings
Robust clinical assessment and patient care skills in medical and surgical contexts
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse in Australia

Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent qualification with current AHPRA registration
Current CPR and First Aid certification
Post-graduate qualification or experience in medical or surgical nursing is advantageous
