Our client is a large, purpose driven organisation with operations across multiple sites. They are seeking a Commercial Analyst to join their team and help drive stronger workforce and business performance.

About the role/n

Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you will turn financial, workforce and operational data into insights that support better decisions. Working closely with leaders across Operations, Finance, Payroll and Workforce,

/n

Your responsibilities will include:

/n

/n
Preparing labour forecasts, budgets and workforce performance reports.

/n
Analysing results against budget and forecast, identifying key drivers and opportunities for improvement.

/n
Partnering with operational leaders on workforce planning, productivity and cost management.

/n
Reviewing roster performance and helping strengthen workforce efficiency and governance.

/n
Modelling the financial impact of wage changes and proposed workforce initiatives.

/n
Supporting funding and regulatory reporting.

/n
Improving reporting tools, processes and the quality of data used in decision-making.

/n

About you/n





You are a commercially minded analyst who enjoys working with stakeholders and using data to influence decisions. You will bring:

/n

/n
At least four years’ experience in a commercial analyst role.

/n
Solid business partnering skills and the confidence to challenge assumptions.

/n
Advanced Excel skills, including complex formulas and Power Query.

/n
Experience with forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis and financial modelling.

/n
Transparent communication skills and the ability to manage competing priorities in a quick-paced environment.

/n
A degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, Business Analytics or a related discipline.

/n

/n

Progress towards CA or CPA is viewed favourably. Experience in aged care is welcome but is not essential; strong commercial experience is the priority.
