HYDAC Australia is a global leader in hydraulic, lubrication and fluid power solutions. We are seeking an experienced
Hydraulic Fitter
to join our Victoria team, assembling, testing and commissioning high-quality hydraulic systems for a diverse range of industries.
What You'll Be Doing
Assemble hydraulic power units, manifolds, pumps, motors, valves, accumulators and lubrication systems
Manufacture and install hydraulic tube and hose assemblies
Read and interpret hydraulic schematics and engineering drawings
Test, commission and troubleshoot hydraulic systems




Diagnose faults and carry out repairs and modifications
Complete quality and testing documentation
Support Production and Engineering teams to deliver projects safely, on time and to a high standard
What We're Looking For
Trade qualification in Mechanical Fitting, Engineering Mechanical Trade or similar
Minimum 3 years' experience in hydraulic fitting, fluid power or mechanical fitting
Proven experience in hydraulic system assembly, testing and fault finding
Strong tube bending and hose manufacturing skills
Ability to read hydraulic schematics and technical drawings
Current Australian Driver's Licence
Full Australian working rights
Hydraulic or fluid power training
Forklift Licence and White Card
Experience in an ISO **** environment
Lathe and milling machine skills
