Assistant Sales Manager — Chery Hoppers Crossing /n

Chery Hoppers Crossing is looking for an experienced Assistant Sales Manager to join our growing team — with a transparent path to Sales Manager role within our group and beyond for the right person. Chery is one of the fastest-growing automotive brands in Australia, and this role is a genuine springboard into dealership leadership, not just a sales floor position.

About the role /n

Working closely with the Sales Manager, you'll take on real leadership responsibility from day one — assisting in running the sales floor, supporting deal structuring and negotiation, and ensuring every customer gets a high-quality experience from enquiry through to delivery.

This role is deliberately set up as a stepping stone: as Chery's presence in the market grows, so does the scope of this position and the opportunities that follow it.

Key responsibilities /n

Support and help mentor a team of sales consultants, building leadership skills

/n
Be involved in deal approvals, stock management, and pricing strategy

/n
Work directly with the Sales Manager on forecasting and reporting

/n




Help build customer satisfaction and repeat business across the Hoppers Crossing region

/n
Assist in running the sales floor

/n
Help support deal structuring and negotiation

/n

About you /n

Leadership or team support experience in a dealership setting

/n
Robust negotiation and deal-structuring skills

/n
Solid understanding of dealership finance and F&I; processes

/n
Current Australian driver's licence required

/n
