Diesel Mech Vic is an established mobile diesel mechanic business based in the Yarra Valley, servicing quarry and civil equipment across Melbourne's eastern suburbs.
We are looking for a qualified mechanic to join our team.

, depending on experience
Regular weekday overtime paid at applicable overtime rates
Monday to Friday – no compulsory weekends
Optional weekend work available
Local field work – home every night
Service truck provided
Variety of machinery, breakdown and diagnostic work
Small, experienced team
Stable, ongoing full-time work
Training and support available for the right person
This role would suit:
Experienced earthmoving or field service diesel mechanics
Qualified diesel mechanics looking to move into field service
Truck mechanics wanting to move into earthmoving equipment
Qualified petrol mechanics wanting to transition into heavy diesel
Don't have earthmoving experience?




Training and support can be provided for the right person.
The role
Working across quarry and civil sites on a range of equipment including:
Wheel loaders
General earthmoving machinery
Duties include servicing, breakdowns, diagnostics, overhauls and repairs.
What we're looking for
Strong mechanical knowledge
Ability to work independently in the field
Good problem-solving and diagnostic skills
HR licence preferred but not essential
Ability to meet site safety requirements
