About the role:
In this key role, you will help plan and develop a diverse rangeof infrastructure projects - from roads, paths and drainagenetworks to coastal infrastructure, car parks, bridges and publictransport facilities.
What you'll be doing:
Investigating and refining project scope requirements,developing project documentation and cost estimates.
Managing consultants undertaking studies andinvestigations.
Supporting grant funding applications and project businesscases.
Coordinating stakeholder consultation and engagementactivities.
Assisting with statutory approvals and agencyclearances.
Contributing to the City's Capital Works Program and annualbudgeting processes.
Responding to infrastructure-related customerenquiries.
Collaborating with the design and survey team on requiredworks.
What you'll bring to the role:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Qualifications or subsequent experience in civilengineering, project management, or a related discipline.
Experience in municipal engineering, asset planning orproject management.
Knowledge of roads, footpaths, drainage networks and publicinfrastructure assets.
Sound understanding of workplace health and safetyrequirements.
Desirable but not essential - Experience using a range ofsoftware such as
AutoCAD, MicroStation
,
QGIS
.
Pre-employment Requirements:
Current C Class Driver's Licence
Construction Awareness White Card
National Police Clearance
