About the Role - (multiple opportunities)n
Working in the CQ Coalfields region - based in Moranbah, Emerald or Blackwater you will be responsible for servicing and maintenance of a variety of fire protection systems and equipment delivering excellence in customer service. We are seeking motivated individuals who are already in the in the fire protection industry or have a trade background / mechanical aptitude and are keen to gain new skills and qualifications. Chubb provides in house training with nationally recognised qualifications.

To be successfuln
n
Direct knowledge and exposure to fire suppression systems (desirable but not critical) as VOC and RTO training will be available in house.
n
Installation and service experience of Mobile Fire Suppression systems (a distinct advantage)
n
Effectively manage available time and resources and be proactive in problem solving and troubleshooting.
n
Achieve full compliance to service delivery and procedural requirements, including quality, EH&S;,



Ethics and Trade practices.
n
Survey customer machines and recommend fire protection and safety systems and equipment.
n
Identify, service, and repair fire protection and safety systems and equipment in accordance with guidelines.
n
Report work progress and performance by completing productivity and key performance indicator reports.
n
About Youn
n
The capacity to work on a 7 on / 7 off day roster or rotating day and night shifts or a 4 on 3 off roster.
n
Up to date product and industry knowledge, and an understanding of where to locate the relevant information.
n
A solid knowledge of AS**** Australian Standard (Not a requirement for new starters).
n
Professional experience or qualifications specified by any applicable local classification structure.
n
A technical or engineering competency with the ability to complete identified company, industry and occupational training and accreditation.
n
Mechanical experience will be highly regarded.
n
Certificate II in Fire Protection / QBCC Licence advantageous.
n
Current Driver's license.
n
