Peter Stevens Dandenong is looking for a reliable, hands‐on Trade Assistant to join our busy workshop team.
This is a varied role that provides day‐to‐day support to our technicians, helping keep the workshop running smoothly and ensuring our customers receive exceptional service. No two days are the same. From assisting with motorcycle servicing and workshop tasks to preparing vehicles and maintaining a safe, organised workspace, you will play an important part in the team's success.
While formal qualifications are not required, strong mechanical aptitude and practical hands‐on experience are essential. If you are someone who enjoys working with tools, solving problems, and getting stuck into a variety of tasks, we would love to hear from you.
What You Will Be Doing:
Supporting technicians with servicing, repairs and workshop activities
Carrying out basic servicing and maintenance tasks under supervision
Assisting with motorcycle assembly, preparation and pre-delivery work
Moving, cleaning and presenting vehicles to a high standard
Maintaining a clean, safe and organised workshop environment
Assisting with parts handling, deliveries and general workshop duties
Helping the team meet customer and workshop deadlines




What You Will Bring:
Strong mechanical aptitude and hands‐on practical experience
Confidence using tools and working in a workshop workplace
Good attention to detail and pride in your work
Reliable work ethic and ability to work as part of a team
A genuine interest in motorcycles, automotive or mechanical industries
Previous experience as a Trade Assistant, Workshop Assistant, Mechanic's Assistant or in a similar hands‐on role will be highly regarded
