You will work with children from birth to 12 years of age and their families, providing supports within your professional scope while working in a coordinated manner with the broader Kids I Can team.
Key responsibilities
Providing evidence-based supports to children and their families
Working in a coordinated manner with families and the Kids I Can team to support each child's individual goals
Working alongside other Kids I Can practitioners within our coordinated model
Completing relevant documentation, reports and skilled records
Contributing your professional knowledge and perspective to the broader team
Participating in supervision and professional development
About you
A relevant tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology, Occupational Therapy or Physiotherapy
For Educator applicants, a NESA-accredited teaching degree
Relevant professional registration or membership requirements for your discipline, where applicable
A current Working With Children Check
A current driver's licence
Strong communication and teamwork skills
A commitment to evidence-based practice and ongoing professional learning
About us
Kids I Can is a family-centred paediatric practice based in Wagga Wagga. We are a small team of experienced practitioners who work together to provide coordinated supports for children and their families. Our team includes Speech Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists and Educators. Rather than practitioners working in isolation, our coordinated model allows team members to bring their own qualified lens while working together around the needs and goals of each child and family. We value the knowledge and experience each practitioner brings to the team and place a strong emphasis on supporting professional development, building confidence and creating opportunities to learn from one another.
