This is a permanent full-time position commencing Term 1, **** Piara Waters Senior High School (SHS) is Western Australia's newest secondary public school, which opened in **** to serve the vibrant and multicultural community of Piara Waters. The Role
We are looking for dynamic, adaptable and collaborative individuals who are committed to working effectively as part of a team. The successful applicant will ideally be student focused, participate in ongoing professional learning opportunities and continually reflect on their own teaching practice to enhance student engagement and achievement of outcomes. You should be innovative, knowledgeable and possess a thorough understanding of instructional and curriculum expertise whilst keeping abreast of the latest developments within the Health & Physical Education Learning Area. Applicants who possess excellent interpersonal skills, who are relationship focussed, are flexible and adaptable and able to provide engaging, relevant and meaningful learning are encouraged to apply. The successful applicant will ideally be enthusiastic about the School's instructional framework, which is underpinned by explicit teaching and the use of effective instructional skills, strategies and tactics.

The successful applicant should have the ability to develop innovative classroom practices and effectively integrate Information and Communication Technologies to create personalised, authentic and engaging learning experiences. The ability to provide learning experiences that are purposeful, relevant and responsive to diverse student needs will be highly valued.

Eligibility
hold an eligible teacher qualification and registration.
be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident or have a valid visa with relevant work rights for the term of the appointment.
apply for a WA Working with Children Check before you start; and
consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department of Education's Screening Unit before you start.
