Electrical Engineering Internship - Earthing & Bonding
Location: Sydney, NSW
Type: Internship | Part-Time (3 Days per Week)
Duration: 12 Weeks

/n About the Opportunity

/n We are seeking a motivated Electrical Engineering Intern with knowledge or exposure to Earthing and Bonding to gain practical industry experience with a specialised electrical engineering company in Sydney.
/n This prospect is ideal for an Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering or related Engineering student/recent graduate looking to apply their technical knowledge to real-world projects and strengthen their Australian engineering experience.

/n Key Responsibilities

/n The intern may assist with:

/n

/n
Earthing and bonding engineering activities

/n
Earthing system design and analysis

/n
Engineering calculations and technical assessments

/n
Review of electrical drawings and technical documentation

/n
Earth Potential Rise (EPR), step and touch voltage concepts

/n
Preparation of engineering reports and project documentation

/n
Earthing testing and related project activities

/n
Supporting engineers across electrical infrastructure projects

/n

About You/n




/nWe would like to hear from candidates who:/n

/n

/n
Are studying or have recently completed Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering or a related discipline

/n
Have knowledge, academic exposure or project experience in Earthing and Bonding

/n
Have an understanding of electrical power systems

/n
Are comfortable working with technical drawings and engineering information

/n
Have solid analytical and problem-solving skills

/n
Are motivated to gain practical Australian engineering experience

/n

Knowledge of CDEGS, earthing system modelling, soil resistivity, EPR, step/touch voltage or high-voltage systems would be highly regarded but is not essential./n
