About the Company
An established organisation operating within Australia's growing renewable energy sector, delivering projects across the country.
With a robust pipeline of work and continued growth, they are looking for an experienced HSEQ Coordinator to join the team and provide support across both office and site-based operations.
About the Role
This is a varied HSEQ position combining site visits, audits, incident investigations, compliance and HSEQ reporting.
Based from the Sydney office, you will regularly visit a regional NSW project site, working closely with site personnel and management to promote strong HSEQ standards and ensure systems and processes are being effectively implemented.
This role would suit an organised and proactive HSEQ professional who enjoys a combination of hands‐on site work and coordination/reporting responsibilities.
Duties
Conduct regular site visits, inspections and internal audits
Support compliance with HSEQ management systems and project requirements
Investigate incidents and accidents and implement corrective actions
Maintain HSEQ records,
reports and documentation
Support the development and improvement of HSEQ policies and procedures
Promote a strong safety culture across site personnel
Ensure personnel have appropriate training, equipment and competency
Monitor changes to relevant legislation, regulations and industry best practice
Provide practical HSEQ advice and support to site teams
Assist with ongoing HSEQ reporting and continuous improvement initiatives
Skills & Experience
2+ years' HSEQ experience within the solar/renewable energy sector, major infrastructure, or similar industries
Strong understanding of WHS legislation, safety procedures and project requirements
Experience conducting audits, inspections and incident investigations
ICAM or equivalent incident investigation training highly regarded
Cert IV or Diploma in WHS, or equivalent qualification
Cert IV Training & Assessment desirable
Current Australian Driver's Licence with clean driving record
