Part-time, ongoing position available - 32 hours per fortnight.
Up to $60,****** (HS1) - $67,****** (HS17) base salary per annum - full-time equivalent pro-rated for part-time.
Parkville location, with multiple public transport options available.
About the role
As a member of the patient information clerical team you will assist with the maintenance and provision of patient records for patient care, research and education.
This position will contribute to the accurate sorting, checking, filing, compiling and scanning of patient related forms. The position will also include processing requests for patient information, answering telephone calls, record culling, quality audits and other HIS activities as directed. Carry out tasks as part of a team that works co-operatively, sharing roles and responsibilities to meet the needs of the hospital cancer patients.
Remuneration as per Health and Allied services, Managers and Administrative workers EBA. Up to Up to $60,****** (HS1) - $67,****** (HS17) base salary per annum, (full-time equivalent - to be prorated for Part Time) dependent on candidate experience.To be discussed with Hiring Manager.
You'll bring with you:
Highly accurate filing skills
Basic computer skills
Highly organised and methodical worker
Ability to prioritise work
Ability to work as a team member
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Previous hospital clerical experience an advantage
Previous experience using Verdi/Clinical Viewer and patient administration systems
Understanding of Patient Privacy requirements
