Crafting memories, one event at a time. Let's get partying!
SOCO Event Hire is where unforgettable moments begin - and we're looking for reliable, hands-on legends to join our Event Delivery & Warehouse Crew across the stunning South Coast of NSW.
One day you might be in the warehouse prepping gear, and the next youre road-tripping to a private property to help set up an epic wedding or corporate event. We're talking dream venues, big builds, team banter, and the satisfaction of seeing your work come to life.
We dont just drop off furniture - we build experiences. Whether its a beachfront ceremony, a high-end product launch, or a backyard party with style, youll be part of the crew making it happen behind the scenes.
If youre physically fit, take pride in doing a solid job, and want a role where no two days are the same - this one's for you.
A DAY IN THE LIFE
You wont be stuck doing the same thing every day - this is a hands-on role where you'll be out and about, working alongside a solid crew to bring events to life.
What you'll be doing:
a) Loading and unloading trucks with care and efficiency
b) Setting up and packing down furniture, props, and styling items onsite
c) Delivering and collecting gear at incredible locations across NSW - Sydney, South Coast & Southern Highlands
d) Helping with equipment installs - sometimes it's big work, but always rewarding
e) Keeping everything looking fresh - cleaning, maintaining and checking over gear to keep quality high
f)

Following the lead of your team mates while also backing your own initiative to get the job done right
g) Working hard, having a laugh, and enjoying the satisfaction of seeing a space transformed before your eyes
Youll also:
Think ahead and share ideas for how we can do things better - were all about improving by 1% every day
Pass on feedback from clients so we can keep lifting our game
Communicate with the Sales and Ops teams to make sure deliveries and setups are spot on
Work fast, work clean, and take pride in a job well done
Keep quality high - from double-checking counts in the warehouse to giving each piece a once-over before it goes out
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
You dont need a fancy resume - just a solid work ethic, a good attitude, and the ability to roll with whatever the day throws at you. Heres what we value:
a) You're hands-on and happy to lift, carry, and build - in all kinds of weather
b) You've got a can-do attitude and you're not afraid of a challenge
c) You take ownership and do things properly - no shortcuts
d) You're a team player who backs the crew and pulls your weight
e) You're confident chatting to clients and know how to represent the brand professionally
f)

You've got fine eye and care about the little details that take a setup from 'good' to 'wow'
g) You're interested in learning, growing, and maybe even turning this into a long-term gig
A valid driver's licence
Previous event, warehouse, or labouring experience
Flexibility to work weekends and peak event periods
PERKS OF THE ROLE
a) Epic locations - Stunning private properties, beaches, and venues (way better than being stuck indoors)
b) No boring shifts - One day you're in the warehouse, the next you're setting up an event at a private property or huge venue
c) Solid team vibes - Authentic crew who's got your back, work hard, and have a laugh along the way
d) Flexible Casual Hours - Great for uni students, creatives, or anyone who wants regular work without being locked into a 9 - 5.
e) Recent to events? No worries - We'll show you the ropes with a clear training pathway and crew mentoring built in.
f) Gear + Systems that work - Our warehouse and gear are well-managed so you can do your job efficiently and without stress.
g) Build Your Career - We'll support you to take on more responsibility or step into leadership if thats where you want to head.
