PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR
An exciting opportunity is available for a Production Supervisor to join the FUWA K-Hitch team in our Kenwick location.
FUWA K Hitch (Australia) is a leading manufacturer of semi-trailer equipment and truck trailing components for the heavy vehicle transport industry with three locations servicing Australia wide.
Working in a fast paced, highly productive workplace you will be responsible for the supervision of all fabrication, welding and assembly of Fifth Wheels (Turntables), Axles and Suspension assemblies to our high standard for supply into the transport industry.
Ideal candidates will have had experience in the heavy‐duty transport equipment industry or similar, however this is not essential.
The position requires a self‐motivated team leader with the ability to supervise all the processes and the various work within our small production team.
They will also need to involve themselves with all facets of fabrication, welding, assembly and various other items.
Additional to the above, the successful applicant will need to be involved in technical product support, warranty assessments, repair procedures and recommendations.
This is a permanent position working in our Western Australian Kenwick facility.




This role is a full‐time 40‐hour per week salaried position.
This position reports directly to Perth Branch Manager.
We have a clean, spacious production work area with welding bays, assembly bays, benches, jigs, trolleys, lifting equipment, forklifts and overhead cranes.
Specific Responsibilities:
Oversee the running of Perth Production
QA production work orders once complete.
Entering of production staff hours for all work.
Ensuring jobs are completed in a timely manner.
Ensuring production paperwork meets our QA protocol's.
Making sure tools/jigs are maintained and kept up to date.
Training of new production staff.
Purchasing of consumables for workshop.
Working on the tools to cover staff if sick or to alleviate a backlog of work, to meet customer lead times.
Technical Product Support
Assist with any technical product inquiry.
Internal - WA Branch.
External - OEM, OES, Dealers and Fleets
Quality Assurance
Investigate and inform any QA concerns with the FKH product.
Check with other FKH branches for similar instances.
Quarantine action (when and if required).
Rework - plan and execution.
