About the Role




As a Veterinary Nurse at Hoppers Crossing, you'll be involved in all aspects of nursing and patient care while working closely alongside our veterinarians and clients.
Your responsibilities may include:
Assisting veterinarians during consultations, treatments, and procedures
Supporting our Team-Based Care approach through nurse consulting and client communication
Surgical preparation and theatre assistance
Monitoring anaesthesia and patient recovery
Medical nursing and hospital patient care
Collecting and processing pathology samples
Administering medications and treatments
Maintaining clinic hygiene and equipment
Supporting reception and administrative duties when required
Educating clients on preventative healthcare and patient care
Helping create a welcoming and positive experience for every client and patient
About You
We're looking for someone who:
Holds (or is working towards) a Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing
Enjoys talking with clients and building strong relationships
Has a genuine passion for customer service and patient care
Is friendly, approachable, and confident communicating with people
Loves being part of a team and contributing to a positive culture
Is adaptable and willing to learn
Brings a positive attitude and strong work ethic
Veterinary nursing experience is welcomed but not essential.




We are happy to support the right person to further develop their practical skills, as we firmly believe technical skills can be taught, but a great attitude and team fit are invaluable.
