A leading FMCG business is seeking a Commercial Analyst to join their finance team for a long term contract in a pivotal commercially focused role. This position will play a key role in driving business performance through detailed sales analysis, strategic insights, forecasting, and business partnering across operations and leadership teams.
This opportunity will suit a commercially minded finance professional who thrives working with large datasets, enjoys influencing decision-making, and wants to operate as a true strategic partner to the business.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver detailed sales, margin, and profitability analysis across multiple business units and product lines
Analyse large and complex datasets to provide actionable commercial insights and performance recommendations




Partner closely with sales, operations, supply chain, and senior leadership teams
Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
Develop financial models, dashboards, and reporting tools to improve visibility and performance tracking
Identify trends, risks, and opportunities to drive business growth and operational efficiencies
Assist in driving continuous improvement initiatives across reporting, systems, and processes
About You
CA/CPA qualified
Strong experience within commercial finance, FP&A;, or commercial analysis roles in an FMCG or consumer goods environment
Advanced Excel and strong ERP/BI systems experience
Proven ability to work with large datasets and translate data into meaningful business insights
Strong stakeholder engagement and business partnering capability
Commercially astute with a proactive and analytical mindset
Immediately Available or 1-2 weeks notice
