.

Strong practical and technical experience in tree management
Experience assessing tree health, condition, maintenance requirements and risk

A current

essential.
The following will also be highly regarded:
White Card / General Construction Induction
Traffic Control accreditation
Chainsaw competency
Herbicide application accreditation
Previous local government or public-tree asset experience.
Why consider this opportunity?
This is a 6 mnth full time opportunity to use your arboriculture knowledge at an asset-management and assessment level while contributing directly to the management and future development of a significant urban tree network.
You will work across a varied portfolio involving established public trees, new planting programs, community enquiries, inspections and contractor works - providing considerably more variety than a traditional production arborist position.
If you are an experienced arborist or tree-management professional ready to take the next step into a broader technical role, we would like to hear from you.
