Female Support Worker
Location: Cooper Plains, QLD
Are you a compassionate and reliable person who enjoys supporting others and making a meaningful difference in the community. Horizon Community Services is looking for additional Female Support Workers to join our growing team in Cooper Plains, QLD.
We are looking for someone who is caring, dependable and committed to supporting participants with dignity, respect and encouragement.
Selection criteria:
Previous experience in a support worker or similar role is highly desirable
Experience providing compassionate support to people with disability
Robust communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work independently and take initiative




A genuine commitment to person-centred support
Required qualifications and checks:
Certificate in Disability, Community Services, Health or a related field
NDIS Worker Screening Check (Yellow Card) and Blue Card
Valid Driver's Licence and access to a reliable vehicle with appropriate insurance
Current CPR and First Aid Certificate
National Police Check
