Casual Chef

What you'll be doing
Preparing and cooking a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards
Maintaining food safety and hygiene standards in accordance with health regulations
Managing food preparation stations and ensuring efficient workflow during service
Monitoring food quality and presentation to meet customer expectations
Assisting with inventory management and identifying stock requirements
Collaborating with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate food delivery
Responding flexibly to kitchen demands during busy periods
Contributing to a positive and skilled kitchen environment
What we're looking for
Proven experience as a chef or cook in a hospitality or food service setting




Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods
Excellent understanding of food safety and hygiene practices
Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage multiple tasks
Good communication and teamwork skills
Flexibility and adaptability to casual work arrangements
Relevant culinary qualifications or training is highly valued
Experience in a hotel or pub kitchen environment would be advantageous
