We are looking for a proactive and customer-focused
Talent Acquisition Officer
to support recruitment activities within a local council in Melbourne's south-west.
This role involves:
Coordinating recruitment processes from advertising through to offer and onboarding
Supporting candidate screening, interviews, employment checks and recruitment compliance
Managing recruitment administration and maintaining accurate records in recruitment systems
Working closely with hiring managers and stakeholders to understand and support their recruitment needs
Providing clear and timely communication throughout the candidate journey
Building positive relationships with candidates, hiring managers and stakeholders
Managing competing priorities while delivering a high level of customer service

We are open to candidates with previous recruitment experience, either in-house or agency, as well as those with robust administration, customer service or stakeholder engagement backgrounds who are keen to develop a career in recruitment.
Experience within local government or using recruitment systems such as PageUp will be highly regarded.
