William Carey Christian School is seeking a committed and caring
Learning Support Assistant
to join our Primary School team in a
full-time position commencing January ****

Working under the direction of teachers, the Learning Support Assistant supports student learning, engagement and wellbeing, helping to foster an inclusive and supportive learning workplace. The successful applicant will demonstrate a genuine commitment to Christian education and a desire to support students in reaching their potential.
A person of evangelical Christian convictions and character, actively involved in a Bible-based Christian church and committed to the work of Christian education.
Affirm and uphold the School's Statement of Faith and committed to working a biblical worldview into all aspects of School role.
A current and valid paid Working with Children Check clearance prior to commencement of employment, with ongoing maintenance of this clearance throughout employment.
Hold a Certificate III or IV in Education Support (or intending to actively pursue in the near future).
Demonstrated experience in supporting students to meet a wide range of student learning requirements.
A genuine commitment to inclusive education practices in learning support education.
Proven ability to collaborate effectively and harmoniously within team settings.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently and respectfully with students, colleagues, and the broader school community
