Core Talent are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Fitter to join a busy workshop team based south of the river.
This is an excellent opportunity for a trade-qualified Electrical Fitter looking for a solid hourly rate, consistent day-shift hours and ongoing work with a reputable organisation.
The Role
You will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, testing and assembly of electrical equipment and machinery.
Testing and commissioning electrical equipment
Electrical fault finding, repairs and maintenance
Servicing and rebuilding pumping equipment
Diagnosing faults and assessing required repairs
Inspecting returned equipment and identifying damage
Reading and following workshop manuals
Completing servicing and maintenance documentation
Preparing equipment for customer delivery
Occasional field servicing and repairs
Working safely and efficiently to meet deadlines
About You
To be considered, you will have:
Relevant Electrical Trade Certificate
Restricted Electrical Licence




Experience working with electric motors from 240V – ****V
Strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills
Experience with pumps, machinery or similar equipment
Ability to assess and scope repairs
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Experience in mining, construction, heavy industry or equipment rental will be highly regarded.
What's on Offer?
$65 - $68 per hour
6am – 3pm Monday to Friday
Overtime available depending on business needs
South of the River location
Casual but ongoing prospect
