We are seeking a Change and Communications Specialist (APS6 equivalent) for our Federal Government client to start contracting ASAP until 30 June **** with up to 24 months extension options. There is an opportunity to upgrade to NV1 if you currently hold an active Baseline clearance.

About the role
As a Change and Communications Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Program by planning and executing change support and deliverables. You'll act as the conduit between the Program and the Change Management Office, working closely with a diverse range of stakeholders to ensure fit for purpose materials are developed to support change readiness. You're focus will be to create and support the delivery of tailored change materials that enhance people's ability to apply, respond to, embed, and adapt to changes throughout the organisation.
The role will be responsible for, but not limited to:
Demonstrated experience delivering and supporting change management and communication plan across the lifecycle of complex organisational projects.
Provide change management and communications expertise to IT and business areas and facilitate identification of change impacts, develop the plans and actions to mitigate the impact of change on people.
Proven ability to deliver change management in alignment with established organisational frameworks, effectively managing multiple interdependencies and engaging diverse stakeholder groups.




Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to align change and communication activities to broader project or organisational timelines.
Deliver high-quality, professional and user-centric communication materials that align with client's style manual and Australian Government Style Manual.
Proven ability to create, edit and refine communication materials including but not limited to intranet content, news items, presentations, talking points.
Experience in managing change, with an adaptable mindset, the ability to navigate complexity and work as part of a team
Experience working with subject matter experts, translating technical change into business impacts and designing appropriate change mitigations and plans.
Experience using a user-centred design approach in the development and execution of change and communication strategy's and activity plans.
Strong writing, editing and proofreading experience, combined with expert language skill, allowing you to create material that will inspire our internal and external stakeholders.
Proficiency in using key Microsoft applications such as Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook.
Must have an active AGSVA Baseline Security clearance and the ability to upgrade to a Negative Vetting 1 Security Clearance.
Understanding of Agile project methodologies and delivery approaches and/or experience supporting change management within an Agile workplace.
