Key Responsibilities:
Lead and deliver external audit and assurance engagements from planning through to completion
Prepare and review audit working papers, financial statements and audit reports
Identify risks, assess internal controls, and provide valuable insights to clients
Work directly with clients and stakeholders to deliver exceptional service outcomes
Coach, mentor and support Graduate Auditors and junior team members
Contribute to the continuous improvement of audit processes and methodologies
Assist with special engagements including due diligence, internal audits and other advisory projects
About You:
Minimum 3+ years' experience in External Audit within a mid-tieror Big 4 public practice environment
CA or CPA qualification (or close to completion)
Strong knowledge of Australian Auditing Standards and financial reporting requirements (experience using CaseWare is a bonus)
Experience preparing and reviewing audit documentation and financial statements
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Ability to effectively manage multiple engagements simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines
Highly organised with the ability to prioritise competing demands, and seamlessly switch between tasks and client engagements
