ABOUT US
The Park Hotel is part of Matthews Hospitality Group. Our accommodation team plays an important role in the guest experience, ensuring rooms and shared spaces are clean, welcoming, and ready for arrival.
ABOUT THE JOB
This casual role offers approximately 6–20 hours per week on a seven-day roster. Morning availability is required, including both Saturdays and Sundays.
Your main focus will be cleaning guest accommodation and shared areas, with occasional cleaning in the main hotel. You will:
Clean and present guest rooms, bathrooms and common areas to hotel standards
Change linen and towels,



replenish supplies and arrange rooms for arriving guests
Complete laundry duties and dispose of waste safely
Keeping all work logged in Flexkeeping
Use and store cleaning equipment and chemicals correctly
Report maintenance issues, hazards and low supplies to management
Respect guest privacy and keep rooms secure while you work
ABOUT YOU
You take pride in the details and can work efficiently without compromising your standards. Previous accommodation cleaning experience is highly regarded.
You will also bring:
Positive time management and the ability to work independently
A friendly, helpful approach with guests and colleagues
An understanding of safe cleaning practices and chemical handling
The physical ability to carry out cleaning duties safely
Availability for morning shifts across the week, including Saturdays and Sundays
Applicants must live in or near Mount Gambier and have unrestricted working rights in Australia. This role requires a police check.
