experienced Building Surveyors
who are passionate about making a meaningful difference.

You will provide technical expertise and leadership across functions that ensure development occurs safely, responsibly and in accordance with legislative requirements, while balancing community expectations, economic growth and quality outcomes.
The Opportunity
Providing expert advice on complex building and compliance matters
Supporting enforcement activities and representing Council where required
Supporting the operation of the Council's Building Fire Safety Committee
Mentoring and guiding building surveyors within the team
Helping the team manage workloads and priorities
Supporting reporting, policy development, and continuous improvement initiatives
Undertaking commercial building inspections and Building Rules assessments
Working closely with builders, developers,



consultants and internal teams to achieve practical outcomes
Ongoing professional development and career progression opportunities

Who you are
Passionate about community outcomes and motivated by meaningful work.
Highly capable in building surveying, compliance, development services, planning, regulatory services or a related discipline.
An engaging communicator with strong stakeholder management skills.
Experienced in complex legislative and regulatory environments.
Accreditation as a
Building Professional Level 1, 2 (for Senior Development)
or 3 will be highly regarded.
