If 12D is your strength and land development is where you've built your career, this is worth a conversation.
Strong pipeline of residential land development and subdivision projects
Hands-on 12D design across roads, earthworks, grading and drainage
Take projects from concept and preliminary design through to detailed documentation
Work closely with experienced civil engineers and project managers
MUSIC and DRAINS experience would be helpful, but is not essential
Southern Brisbane location - potentially a much easier commute than the CBD
We are looking for an experienced Civil Designer who knows 12D properly and can take ownership of their design work without needing constant direction.




You'll be joining an established consultancy with a solid land development workload and the opportunity to work across projects of varying size and complexity. This isn't a role where you'll simply be given mark-ups all day, they want someone who understands how subdivisions come together and can contribute to practical, buildable design solutions.
What we require from you
Ideally, you will have around 5+ years' civil design experience, with a substantial part of that gained in Australian Urban / land development.
12D capability is the key requirement. You should be comfortable with subdivision layouts, road geometry, bulk earthworks, grading and drainage design. Experience with MUSIC and DRAINS will strengthen your application, but we won't overlook a very good 12D land development designer who hasn't used them extensively.
