We are currently seeking a full time Residential Care Officer for our business located in Blacktown.
Your duties will include:
Assess residents' care and support needs and follow their individual care plans.
Interview residents and identify their personal, social, emotional, and daily living needs.
Provide personal care, assistance with daily activities, and support to people with disabilities.
Support residents living in group homes and residential accommodation.
Monitor residents' wellbeing and report their progress and any changes in their needs.
Refer residents to health, welfare, and community services when additional support is required.
Assist residents to access medical appointments, community activities, and other support services.
Support families and communicate with guardians, care coordinators, and other service providers.
Help residents develop independence and improve their daily living skills.
Prepare daily care notes, progress reports,



incident reports, and other required records.
Work with community organisations and support agencies to assist residents with their needs.
Follow workplace health and safety, privacy, safeguarding, and organisational policies.
Participate in staff meetings, training, and care plan reviews.
Assist with other reasonable duties related to residential care and support.
In return you will receive:
Package: $80,******,000 per annum plus superannuation
Position: Full time (38 hours a week)

Requirements of position
AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma and at least 1 year of relevant work experience or 3 years of experience to substitute formal qualification
