TalentWeb is partnering with a well-established national organisation to appoint an experienced People & Culture Business Partner for a 12 Month fixed-term contract (with possible extention or permenancy)
Working within a collaborative national People & Culture team, you will partner with a portfolio of sales, corporate and customer-facing functions. You will provide practical advice across the employee lifecycle while helping leaders build their confidence and capability to manage people matters effectively.
This is a broad, hands-on business partnering position suited to someone who enjoys balancing day-to-day operational support with workforce planning, organisational change and longer-term people initiatives.
Key responsibilities
Build trusted relationships with senior leaders and managers across sales and corporate functions
Provide practical advice on performance, conduct, grievances, workplace conflict and other employee relations matters
Coach leaders through difficult conversations, ensuring fair, consistent and appropriately documented outcomes
Support workforce planning, organisational design, restructures and change initiatives
Partner with leaders across recruitment, onboarding, talent, succession and employee development
Contribute to annual remuneration, performance, engagement and talent-review processes
Interpret relevant employment legislation, modern awards, policies and procedures
Identify workforce trends and use people data to support informed decision-making
Collaborate with the broader People & Culture team on projects, systems and continuous improvement initiatives

About you
You will be an established People & Culture Business Partner or an experienced Senior HR Advisor ready to operate with greater autonomy.
You will ideally bring:
Broad generalist HR experience within a corporate, customer-facing or sales-led environment
Experience supporting a complex or geographically dispersed national business
Full Unrestricted Working Rights (Essential)
Confidence managing employee relations matters from initial advice through to documentation and resolution
Strong knowledge of the Fair Work Act, National Employment Standards and contemporary awards
Demonstrated ability to coach and influence leaders at different levels
Experience supporting organisational change, workforce planning and annual people processes
A pragmatic and commercially balanced approach to people decisions
Strong written communication, judgement and stakeholder-management skills
The ability to work independently while contributing collaboratively to a national team
Experience gained within professional services, financial services, technology, property, retail head office, consumer services or another large sales-led corporate environment would be highly regarded.
The offer
Base salary of $120,000-$130,000 plus superannuation, depending on experience
Hybrid working with one to two days per week in the Sydney CBD office
Broad exposure across a varied corporate and sales portfolio
