Clinical Measurement Scientist - Senior (Echocardiography)
to join
Gold Coast Health

You will
Deliver high level echocardiography clinical and consultancy services
Exercise independent skilled decision making and judgement on a day to day basis
Actively participate as a member of a multidisciplinary team
Co-ordinate activity and resources to ensure departmental services are maintained
About you
To be successful in this position you will require:
Tertiary degree in health science (or equivalent), with a strong component of human anatomy and physiology
Possession of an approved graduate diploma in cardiac/echocardiography
Registration or the eligibility for registration with the Australian Sonography Accreditation Registry (ASAR)
Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Hepatitis B
Tuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required
Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed
Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)

The Clinical Measurements Unit (Cardiac) offers a wide range of cardiac diagnostic services including echocardiography, exercise stress echocardiography, dobutamine stress echocardiography, pacemaker/implantable cardioverter defibrillator interrogation and programming, cardiac electrophysiology studies, cardiac catheterisation monitoring, exercise stress testing, electrocardiograms, tilt tables testing, Ambulatory Blood Pressure (APB) monitoring, Holter and event monitoring.
