Inventory & Supply Coordinator
Permanent Full Time | 5 weeks annual leave

About the role
This position involves:
Undertake ordering of supplies, stock, equipment, instruments and stationery on FMIS
Implement and maintain systems for efficient use of space and storage of stock in the operating suite
Obtain competitive quotes for surgical equipment, instruments and supplies as directed
Undertake financial analysis to determine cost effectiveness of supplies as requested
Implement systems for stock rotation and the safe handling of stock in accordance with relevant guidelines and legislation
Monitor the delivery of supplies and follow up inconsistencies with stores/supply department and/or suppliers
Communicate changes in the supply of stock and equipment to staff
Coordinate repairs of specialist equipment/instruments
Coordinate equipment/instrumentation loans (to internal/external users)
What you'll bring
Year 12 English written and spoken
Computer competent; with excellent working knowledge of Patient Management Systems, Microsoft Word and Excel




Advanced telephone skills and clerical skills
Ability to provide quality customer service in a friendly and professional manner
Demonstrated high level of written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated organisation and time management skills
To have an interest in working in a patient centred environment
Demonstrated ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
