About Role:
The Trainer/Assessor at IHNA delivers high-quality training and support to students, fostering motivation and success. They collaborate with course coordinators to design, refine, and evaluate course materials, ensuring ongoing improvement. All efforts adhere strictly to standards and regulations set forth by ASQA, ANMAC, and other relevant regulatory bodies. This commitment to compliance and quality enhancement creates an environment conducive to effective learning and student achievement.
The Trainer/Assessor is expected to perform the following along with additional duties as required to meet the requirements of the role:
Deliver teaching sessions, tutorials, and practical sessions, fostering an inclusive workplace for active student participation, critical thinking, and providing constructive feedback to support academic progression.
Efficiently coordinate simulations and placementsand conduct regular supervision, guiding students in applying theoretical knowledge to practical industrysettings for a comprehensive learning experience.
Implement fair assessment strategies,



continuously monitoring and evaluating educational programs to enhance effectiveness and provide recommendations for ongoing improvement.
Engage in ongoing professional development activities to enhance teaching and Industryskills.
Collaborate and communicate effectively with other educators, students, and external partners toensure a smooth and efficient learning experience.
Collaborate with the curriculum development team to develop learning resources, assessments, and other materials to support the delivery of high-quality education.
Key Selection Criteria:
Must possess HLT***** –Certificate III in Sterilisation ServicesorVocational competencies at least to the level of qualificationdelivered.
Certificate IV in Training and Assessment TAE***** or TAE***** or equivalent
Must have evidence of recent VET and Industry PD activities.
Maintain at least two years of full-time relevant industry experience
Understanding of ASQA regulatory guidelines and standards (highly desirable)
Compliance Requirements
National Police Clearance (valid within the last 6 months)
Working with Children Check (WWCC)
Proof of work rights in Australia
Evidence of vocational competency, VET currency, and industry relevance
