The RoleAn opportunity has become available for a Clinical Measurement Scientist - Senior (Echocardiography) to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our ******-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.You willDeliver high level echocardiography clinical and consultancy servicesExercise independent professional decision making and judgement on a day to day basisActively participate as a member of a multidisciplinary teamCo-ordinate activity and resources to ensure departmental services are maintainedAbout youTo be successful in this position you will require:Tertiary degree in health science (or equivalent), with a solid component of human anatomy and physiologyPossession of an approved graduate diploma in cardiac/echocardiographyRegistration or the eligibility for registration with the Australian Sonography Accreditation Registry (ASAR)Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Hepatitis BTuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be requiredDeclaration of serious discipline history must be disclosedCriminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)BenefitsFlexible work optionsCareer DevelopmentSalary PackagingModern FacilitiesDiverse Work CultureResearch Opportunities*****% super17.5% leave loadingSalaryTemporary part time (up to six months with the possibility of extension, 60.8 hours per fortnight)Base salary ranging from $***** - $***** per hourAbout UsThe Clinical Measurements Unit (Cardiac)
