HOBAN Recruitment is seeking an experienced
Storeperson / Forklift Operator
to join a well-established HVAC manufacturer at its Sydney manufacturing facility. The organisation has a long history in the industry, employs more than 600 people across its group and manufactures commercial air-conditioning equipment locally in Sydney.
This is a hands‐on position combining high‐reach and counterbalance forklift operation with replenishment, put‐away, picking and general stores duties. You'll play an important role in keeping manufacturing supplied with the correct components accurately and on time.
The Role
Working within a busy manufacturing and warehouse environment, you'll support both production and distribution, picking components for the manufacturing team as well as finished‐product orders for dispatch.
Hours:
Monday-Thursday, 8:00am-4:30pm | Friday, 8:00am-2:00pm
Location:
Blacktown, NSW
Employment eligibility:
Australian Citizens and Permanent Residents only
Salary:
$60,000 - $65,000 + super
Key Responsibilities
Operate high‐reach and counterbalance forklifts, including Hyster equipment
Complete replenishment and put‐away activities, including racking up to 4-5 bays high
Pick components and materials required by the manufacturing team
Complete a combination of RF scanning and paper‐based picking
Load and unload trucks, vans and incoming containers
Assist with approximately four incoming containers per day as part of the broader team
Work both on and off the forklift depending on daily operational requirements

About You
We are looking for someone who is reliable, safety‐conscious and highly accurate, with:
A current LF Forklift Licence
Experience operating high‐reach and counterbalance forklifts
Previous warehouse, stores, manufacturing or distribution experience
Experience with RF scanning, pick/pack, replenishment and put‐away
Confidence working both on and off the forklift
Strong attention to detail and an understanding of the importance of accurate, on‐time picking
Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency
Experience with double‐deep racking or forklift attachments is advantageous but not essential, as training can be provided.
Training & Culture
You'll receive comprehensive buddy‐based training, with employees progressively signed off across different areas of the operation.
