We're Looking For
An experienced Senior Contract Specialist who is a Licensed Conveyancer or Solicitor and brings robust property development knowledge, excellent attention to detail and confidence managing complex conveyancing and settlement activities.
What You'll Do
As part of our Contract Services team within Group Legal & Risk, you'll manage the end-to-end conveyancing process across an allocation of Stockland Communities and work closely with internal teams, external legal providers and our strategic partner. The role is based in Sydney, with onsite and hybrid working arrangements and permanent or fixed term opportunities.
You'll prepare, review and manage contracts, disclosures, variations and other legal documentation, coordinate conveyancing instructions, manage conditions and key dates, and oversee settlements through PEXA. You'll also manage settlement statements, deposits, adjustments and reconciliations while ensuring transactions and documentation align across relevant systems.
Working across Sales, Development, Finance, Technology, legal providers and customers, you'll help ensure sales and settlement targets are achieved while maintaining a strong focus on service, accuracy, compliance and risk management.
About You
You're an experienced conveyancing professional who enjoys taking ownership of complex transactions and delivering accurate outcomes in a busy environment.
You're comfortable balancing competing priorities and partnering with a wide range of stakeholders, and you bring a customer focused approach to everything you do.
You'll also be motivated to continue building your knowledge across different state conveyancing processes and support the broader team as business needs evolve.
Experience & Skills That Count
Licensed Conveyancer qualification is required, with a legal qualification highly regarded.
Demonstrated knowledge and experience within real estate development.
Strong working knowledge and practical experience using PEXA.
Experience managing complex conveyancing transactions, contracts, settlement documentation and regulatory requirements, with the ability to manage high volumes of work accurately against SLAs and KPIs.
Experience with DocuSign, SharePoint, SAP and Salesforce will be highly regarded.
