Echuca Regional Health is seeking an Administrator with document management experience to join our Health Information Service team. Be part of a supportive, forward-thinking environment where your expertise is valued!
Key responsibilities include:
Tracking and recording the exact location of each Medical Record on our system, so that physical files can be easily and quickly located when needed
Developing and overseeing the archiving schedule for the department, coordinating tasks and setting priorities
Handling and safeguarding sensitive health information in full compliance with patient privacy regulations and internal data governance standards
Manually uploading and entering missing documentation into our internal information system
Assigning and managing tasksfor the filing team, supervising work to ensure efficiency, consistency and accuracy in the unification process
Working directly with our external storage provider overseeing the requests and transfers of medical records through multiple systems
Qualifications/experience required:
Effective and efficient use of relevant technologies, including key components of Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet Explorer and appropriate health management systems
Well-developed verbal and written communication skills
Strong understanding of handling confidential information and commitment to maintaining privacy
